My friend Sarah recently opened her own cafe in Kapitolyo called The Beach House.
She used to have a kiosk of natural personal care products in SM Mega Mall. Now, she has moved to a new and bigger space—a standalone, four-floor lifestyle shop that not only houses Beach Born but also offers much more!
Currently, the space is still in its finishing stages, welcoming only family and friends. But pretty soon, the doors will open to everyone!
I had the chance to visit last Sunday. Since it's not yet on Google Maps, I pinned Tittos Latin BBQ & Brew on East Capitol Drive, Pasig, which is right next to The Beach House.
The plan is to have the cafe on the ground floor, with the dining area extending up to the second floor. The lifestyle store, offering vintage clothes and other goodies, will also occupy the ground and second floors. I plan to consign my new brand here too, soon! Additionally, there is a spacious area on the second floor for hosting intimate private functions, such as art workshops, seminars, and even K-pop cup sleeve events.
On the third floor, there's a listening room called Monkey on 3rd, where they will serve coffee, alcohol, and good music.
They also discovered a bare fourth floor in the building—let's see what they will do with this space!
As expected from Sarah, The Beach House feels like your hipster friend's place, where you can spend hours catching up or just relaxing with a cup of coffee or bottle of beer. Vibe is cool but comfortable. I hope you'll get to experience it too when they open! :)
