Last weekend, my friends and I went to BAKEBE, Manila's FIRST EVER DIY Baking Wonderland!
We visited Bakebe's newest branch at the S'Maison in Manila (at The Dessert Museum, entrance from outside the mall). All three of us have no baking experiences, but we were enticed by the cute and fun photos of this pink baking studio that we saw online.
Aprons on! We're ready to BAKE A CAKE!
You can choose from a wide selection of baking projects from Bakebe's iPad. They have easy ones like cupcakes and cookies, to elaborate ones like delectable cakes! At the side of each project, you can also check the difficulty level, estimated time of creating, and a list of tools, ingredients, steps, and helpful tips to guide you in baking the cake.
Bake any dessert from Bakebe's menu even with ZERO EXPERIENCE! They will already provide ALL the TOOLS, INSTRUCTIONS, and THE INGREDIENTS. The workstations even has aprons and selfie sticks so you can document your baking! And of course, there's a pastry chef that guided each group during the whole baking process.
What I love about Bakebe? Everything's nice to look at, so cute, and also very clean!
RATES:
Bakebe CAKE projects start at PHP1,799.
Small desserts start at PHP 799.
You can add Php 500 to bake with a friend, but only a maximum of 2 persons per project.
Bakebe recommends you to book in advance so they can prepare everything that you will need. You will also get more savings when you book online. Walk-ins are welcome, too, but there will be plus PHP 100 charge.
You can book a schedule here: https://phbooking.bakebe.com/
After three hours of mixing and baking and garnishing, here's our Blue Carousel Cake creation! It was my first attempt in baking, so I guess we did okay! I recommend Bakebe if you want a unique activity for birthdays, bridal or baby showers, and other get-togethers and celebrations. It can even be a just-because hangout session, if you want to try something new! It was a fun bonding activity with my friends.
Posing with our cake, and sharing this special discount code!
