THINGS TO DO IN BULUSAN, SORSOGON | Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm, Bulusan Volcano Natural Park, and Zoe Resort and Eco-Adventure Park
Bulusan is one of the municipalities we visited in Sorsogon. It is known for being the home of Mt. Bulusan, Sorsogon's highest peak, and Bulusan Lake, a scenic crater lake surrounded by lush greeneries.
The word "Bulusan" actually means "where the water flows". True to its name, this coastal municipality has a lot of freshwater springs and waterfalls.
Here are our three stops when we were in Bulusan on our fifth day in Bicol:
Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm
We had our lunch at the Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm, located in San Roque, Bulusan. More than a bee farm, it is also a relaxing place with a restaurant and accommodation in the middle of nature.
On our way to our lunch place, we walked through these beautiful greenery pathways:
Our group's lunch served buffet style:
On our way out, we even saw these beehives:
Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm is a DOT-accredited Agri-tourism Farmsite which aims to integrate life in a farm setting.

Zoe Resort and Eco-Adventure Park
Imagine having 3 waterfalls in just one resort! With just a short trek, we were able to see two of these majestic waterfalls (Kambal Busay and Hidden Falls) at the Zoe Resort and Eco-Adventure Park.
This new attraction in Bulusan offers nature-inspired amenities and recreational activities. Other than trekking to the three waterfalls, they also have ATV rides, tractor rides, swimming etc.
Quick orientation before the trek. Nagdadasal nako nito, lol.
Pa-FALL yarn? 😄
On our way to the Kambal Busay Falls, we saw these witty hugot signages! It lightens up the trekking mood, and also an excuse for me to stop and read (and rest) hehe!
We reached Kambal Busay Falls in less than 15 minutes (??). Didn't expect a pretty short trek wee, worth it for receiving such a majestic view!
Ang ganda noh! I was shaking when I did this, haha! But being with blogger friends means getting a nice photo during your trip!
I was actually already satisfied with Kambal Busay Falls, but some of our group still went on to see the nearby Hidden Falls. Path was a bit narrower and slippery, with huge rocks and wet steps. Friends (and travelmates) know too well that trekking is sadly my biggest weakness, but with Zoe Resort's very helpful guides, I was able to go and see the Hidden Falls too! Weee!
Not my best angle lol, but I am thankful to our guide for helping me get here and see this view (and even offering to take my pictures and videos). :) I highly recommend this place just for that!
Took this picture while waiting for our group take turns taking photos from the highest boulder. Ang ganda ng tanawin! The pics are not giving it justice at all.
Again, it didn't take a lot of time to get to the Hidden Falls from Kambal Busay (around 15 minutes tops). We were able to see all these in just a short amount of time during our tour, something that I like about Sorsogon is the accessibility to all beauty that nature has to offer.

Bulusan Volcano Natural Park
Just in time for sunset, we arrived at the Bulusan Volcano Natural Park where we had the chance to enjoy Bulusan Lake while riding a boat. Other activities you can try here are trekking, kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding.
Actually, just watching our friends kayaking from this footbridge was already a fun experience!
One of the bloggers I was with (Millet!) said it best, it felt as if we were in Japan or in another country! Truly world class view and facility.
My crew: Our friendly boatsmen, Ruthie, and Jacque!
