I found myself back in Tagaytay last week with other travel bloggers and writers so we can experience Taal Vista Hotel--to me, the classic accommodation in this city. I was so excited to relax and maybe find photo and writing inspiration from the change of scenery.

I really started my Korean pop culture journey with Kdramas. According to the notes on my phone where I jot every show I've watched since 2016, Oh My Venus is the third series I finished.

Last week was a great week for Hallyu fans as we had back-to-back Kpop and Kdrama events with Pulp Live World!

First up was former Wanna One member Park Ji Hoon's First Edition Asian Fan Meeting Tour last March 15, 2019 at the Araneta Coliseum. Filipino Mays filled the venue as Wink Boy entertained his fans with explosive song and dance numbers, games, and fan interactions. He is really adorable IRL!

Have you ever joined an official Kpop fan group?

Honestly, I never thought I'll come this far, haha, but just for the Korean boy group Astro, I found myself paying to enter an official fan club late last year. And like all Kpop groups, the boy band has a nickname for their fans. I can officially call myself an Aroha for the whole 2019!

I haven't found the time to go to the cinemas lately, so I just recently watched Bohemian Rhapsody during my flight to and from Japan with JAL. Weeks passed and I am still affected by it in so many ways, have you seen it? Aside from regretting not having to watch the band Queen live in this lifetime, I also witnessed love stories in different forms.

Are you headed to South Korea sometime in the spring? As you may have read from a previous feature here on Anagon’s Blog, winter season falls between December to February, which means that spring will be in full swing in the months to follow. 

I just turned 33 last January, and I've never felt this busy in my life! I have a lot of things going on since 2019 started, so I make sure to check in on my health from time to time just because getting sick is the last thing I want to happen right now!

One of the things that I do aside from drinking lots of water everyday and staying away from vices like smoking and drinking is adding nutritional supplements to my diet.

What comes to mind when you hear La Union?

To me, it's always the laidback, back-to-basics accommodations, chill cafes and indie restos where barkadas hangout, and of course one of the most accessible surf spots from Metro Manila!

I had no plans on going to a beach trip soon, but suddenly received an invite to experience Aureo La Union and check out their newest property (condo units). I was expecting the rugged side of LU (or Elyu) that I mentioned above, and although I really love this part of the town, I was still tired from my Japan trip that I almost said no. Good thing Marj has strong convincing powers saying, "Chill lang tayo dun!" Before I knew it, I'm already in a van with fellow social media peeps bracing ourselves for a 4 to 5-hour drive up north!

True enough, we witnessed another side of this popular getaway. It provided a bit more of what I needed as of the moment: A more chill, more private, and more tita or family friendly (hehe) 5-star beach resort where I can truly RELAX.

Our winter in Japan trip was from February 14 to 17. We left the night of the 13th, and slept on the plane (Japan Airlines). It was around midnight when we stepped foot in Japan (Haneda International Airport), took the free airport shuttle to another airport terminal for another plane ride to the underexposed side of Japan. This is my kind of Valentine's! 💖
