Where To Find Me This Month

Summer is all about learning new things, upgrading, and going places. It's these things that I look forward to! Here are the stores, events, restaurant, and finally (!) my trip with the fam for the month of May!

Culinary Work Shops

I'm not much of a chef material, but whenever I cook, I super make sure it tastes and looks good even if it's just for me and at home. This summer, I had the chance to attend two culinary workshops through Taste Setters by SySu International Inc., the name behind some of the country's well known food brands like San Remo Pasta, Clara Ole, Lee Kum Kee, McCormick, etc. After attending cooking and baking classes, the more I wished to own the first Korean merienda shop (a Pojangmacha!) here in Manila! ❤

So our classroom in Treston was filled with home cooks, commissary owners, and food entrepreneurs, a nice mix of experienced chefs and business owners. Also learned loads on emerging food trends.

Weekend or After School / Work Hangout

Although a vegetarian, I still hangout in meat-filled restaurants if it means I get to hangout with dear friends! In Buffalo Wild Wings, they offer more than just wings! Their menu now consists of burgers, chicken, ribs, crispy pata, AND OF COURSE--pretzels, fries, jalapeno, nachos, desserts, and yummy drinks for me! I super love their dips, too!

Visit BWW at the Estancia Mall, Glorietta 2, Uptown Mall BGC, S Maison, and Vista Mall Sta. Rosa and get your iced cold beer with the barkada while watching your favorite game on TV monitors that dot their walls! Cool hangout place. 👌

Bazaar Season!

My favorite curated bazaar is happening this weekend, so if you have no plans yet, drop by Whitespace in Chino Roces Makati for Row101! My friend @arnievillanueva will be there for her Japanese food stall Shibusa, plus there will be over 40 other well-curated booths including my favorite Korean brands Etude House, Tony Moly, and Leaders, online shops like I Love Koi and Heir Clothing, and several blogger booths including the Verns, Liz Lanuzo, Janina Manipol, etc.

Php 100 Coffee every Mondays

Ever since this summer heat, I've been looking for coffee shops where I can stay and blog instead of staying in my sauna room, hehe! To start the week right, go to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf every Mondays. They offer Mondays Made Better with Php 100 Ice Blended drinks the whole month of May, till June 5. I usually go to ATC and Glorietta branches, so hope to catch you there! 😋

Legit 90s Kids Unite at Make Your Own Havaianas 2017!

I can definitely relate to this year's MYOH! The biggest and I think the first in flip-flop customizing, Havaianas is back this summer with a trip down memory lane. They asked us to wear 90s style during the event, and I came in my usual Birks and denim, haha! 😂

As for MYOH's 2017 pins, they have TV, cassette tape, boom box, and a video game icon. Plus, glow-in-the-dark pins like lightning bolt, smiley, star, lips, and the letters MYOH. They also have bricks pins ala lego, I got the one with the 8-bit heart!

Make Your Own Havaianas this May 12-14 at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall. Check Havaianas on Facebook for other nationwide locations and schedules.

Rainbow World!

I hope you catched Ava's short IG Live yesterday where we showed our Roy and Biv finds! Located in Glorietta, Trinoma, ATC, Ayala Cebu, and SM Seaside Cebu, this wasteland is an eye-catcher for  both boys and girls, young and old, for their floor to ceiling technicolor world! It's like going inside a Crayola box!

Roy&Biv offers the following colors in their store: red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple and fuchsia. I love that they show a trivia for each color, and their playlist features songs that have something to do with colors! Super good vibes! Roy&Biv has an assortment of things for everybody, including housewares, gift items, accessories, clothes, etc. It's hard to leave the store without a purchase! 😂

For mother's day:

Love in the Moonlight-ish bracelets, hehe!

New Kipling Store

Well-loved nylon bags brand Kipling celebrates their 30th year, and with perfect timing, opens their newest store in the Philippines at the UPTown BGC. Visited with Ava yesterday to get our exclusive 30th year Pink Frost Kipling Monkey, and saw lots of cool pastel hued bags and even nice luggages in the store!

As mentioned, I will also be back in Seoul starting next week! I am so excited! Although our itinerary is already finished, I am still open for your ideas, wish list, recos... I'd really love to look into them! Anything K-Drama related is super welcome, so feel free to comment below or Tweet me @anagon! I always reply, hehe, thank you in advance! ❤
