The past 2 days were spent KonMari-ing my room (A Japanese method of tidying up! Learn more about it HERE). I've thrown HALF of my possessions na (haha)... But of course, kept the most important: A rediscovery of myself, and that life is just about doing what you can do best now. Do check out my many funny throwbacks via Snapchat (anagon1986), Twitter (@anagon), and Facebook.
Anyway, mom stopped me halfway through my general cleaning at baka daw mapagod ako. So here I am, waiting for 12mn, just resting in front of my laptop and creating a year-ender. Although clichè na, it's still my own little tradition to assess the year, and be grateful for everything - the good and the bad. Here goes!
JANUARY
So, the year started in good ol' Boracay with the high school barkada because we had a balikbayan. Boracay looks great during this month - konting tao, very nice weather. I also realized why the old and familiar is still the best! Blog post: Beach Bum and Familiarity.
FEBRUARY
My birthday wish of seeing Pope Francis came true during his visit earlier this year. Ang tinding kalbaryo, but worth it! Those few days also paved fond moments and heart-warming learnings with my family. Read: My Pope Francis Experience.
MARCH
Roxy Outdoor Fitness Girls Camp is one of 2015's most memorable events for me. Aside from taking part in all the gruelling, Amazing Race-ish tasks in Crystal Beach Zambales, it was also the trip where my Clingies got to dance the Zumba and drink Empi Lights with the Roxy team and top bloggers Laureen and Camille. Super cool people to be with!
APRIL
Favorite trip ever since America: JAPANAGON allowed me to eat the best ramen in Osaka (Ichiran), play with the deers in Nara, visit historical houses of Kobe, enjoy cherry blossom season in Kyoto, and visit the famous Ghibli Museum, Shibuya, and Harajuku of Tokyo. I seriously want to go back for their Onsen (Japanese bath house).
MAY
This year's best concert for me? The colorful and crazy Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour! Iba padin talaga when you know every song of the artist you're watching, ang gulo at ang saya!
My first LaBoracay also happened this year, all thanks to Petrol: Journey to Freedom. It was also quite memorable not because of the infamous parties, but because of all the cray adventures Petrol peeps made us do: from parasailing to cliff diving! Seryosong most unforgettable jump of my life!
I think I died a little. Lol!
JUNE
For my cousin's wedding, we had a Family Trip and Mid-Year shenanigan in Cebu! Aside from nightly inuman with the Gonzales Clan, Cea and I just have to try this because hashtag buwis-buhay:
Memorable experiences are not always happy. This year, we also said goodbye to Ting, my 11-year-old and most favorite dog in the world, and most probably even in this whole lifetime. It broke my heart that she passed away while the whole family was in Cebu. I still think of Ting from time to time, and sometimes, I still shed a tear.
Love you Ting!
JULY
Just for the weekend, my blog bff Paul and I were able to explore 2 countries (Singapore-Malaysia)! Legit tiring, but also super exciting trip as we stayed in hostels, never rode a cab (commute all the way!), visited Lego Land, and even rode a night bus up Genting Highlands during a cold July night in Malaysia.
Clingies in El Nido had soooo many misadventures (na-sting si Tracy ng Jellyfish, tapos na-hack pa lahat ng accounts ni Pax), but it's also one of my favorite beach trips this year. I love spending time with my friends, and I can't even stress that fact enough.
I also got my most liked Instagram photo from this trip! Super photogenic naman kasi talaga ng El Nido The Bayview Resort:
AUGUST
Back to school! Took the MAC x SOFA Basic Makeup Class where, finally, naappreciate ko din ang magic of right powder and funda.
SEPTEMBER
Another memorable event this year was Keeks' Day Out for Purple Groom x Pet Angel. Best part was the photo shoot with Keeks and meeting the other cute blogger doggies.
We feel that, to Keeks, this is his own best day of the year.. And we're all happy for him. :)

OCTOBER
Got a bit emotional hearing my old anthem Broken during Lifehouse Live in Manila!
It was an honor for me to be a guest blogger, and chose and awarded the top 5 best-dressed during H&M's SM Southmall launch. Ang dami ko pang kakaining bigas, but I am grateful that they gave me this opportunity.
NOVEMBER
With all the BU planning and blog events during November, I got a bit stressed, emotional, and tired. So this Baler Break with Sarah and her friends was much-needed. Baler is really super beautiful, and ang saya that I was also able to surf for two days! If only I can go on surfing more often.
DECEMBER
Of course, the most wonderful time of the year for me involved Christmas and Bloggers United!
Then we had a pahabol beach trip with Pax and Paul at the Azalea Boracay. I'm also glad to have met and get to know some of our fun lifestyle bloggers because of this trip!
Sorry my captions got shorter by the end of the post, hahaha. Naririnig ko na ang mga paputok, and although rainy, I'd love to go out and enjoy with the fam! I will also be going on a biglaan (as in 2 days ago ko lang naibook, haha) Hong Kong trip tomorrow with one of my high school best friends Marj! I'm super excited to start the year with my family, and with someone who knows me the most!
Again, thank you guys for sticking with me through the years. I know that social media has evolved, and people are now more into visuals, instant info, and Instagram. But hey, that didn't stopped you from dropping by and read my mumunting blog from time to time! :) Please know that I am always grateful for that.
Let's make a pact to make 2016 our best year yet! I am excited to hear your stories (whether through your blogs, Instagram, Snapchat, etc), and meet you all again when BU comes. Now, ending my last 2015 post with words that I saw on a piece of paper during my KonMari-ing earlier:
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything You gave me."
Make it count. To an even more productive and fruitful year for YOU.
I love you all and know that I always feel blessed that we are friends.
