We seldom celebrate Christmas at home. My family goes to both our grandparents' houses in Batangas and Quezon City ever since I can remember!
But this year will be different. Since we're getting smaller (just 2 families), my parents decided to invite our relatives in our home in Alabang for Christmas Eve. Filinvest Christmas is something special - a hidden gem from the hustle and bustle of city life. Something new, yet something warm, fuzzy, and right at home.
During the media launch of the Lights Show in Festival Mall Alabang's River Park, the venue was packed with so much people - families, barkadas - all enjoying the lights and sounds. What I like about this is how Christmas decors were incorporated with Filinvest City's beautiful nature. Nothing has to change, or be compromised!
It felt like being in another country... Because yes, we still have nice parks in the Philippines!

I am happy to share the experience with my blog friend Ava Te, who enjoyed what good ol' south has to offer:
This time with Ida Andu and Cher Lui-Pio. Fun group! :)
Very "selfie" and ootd-worthy location, hehe!
More photo ops while crossing the pretty, lighted bridge:
Just need a good camera, haha!
We were treated with yummy buffet dinner from the different restaurants located in Festival Mall's River Park, thank you!
While being serenaded by Jed Madela, galing!
It was a fun night, and I am excited to spend many more nights here this season. Last night, my parents celebrated their anniversary dinner in Hogs Breath Cafe! It is the perfect backdrop to witness all our family's special occasions, without going far.
