Button-down denim skirt, caramel brown suede jacket, leather boots, fringe, marsala top... Fall is indeed not just a season, but a fashion inspiration. And I see it EVERYWHERE the past weeks.
We might only have rainy and sunny days here in the Philippines, though I can't help but dream of the rustling, falling, brown-red-orange leaves in beautiful parks. I'm obsessed! For now, I can only fall in love with people's style where they get to incorporate the feel and colors of this magical season.
Anyway, I compiled a few wearable silhouettes and colors / combinations from past OOTDs that are fall inspired. Hope you like them!
1) Orange + Maroon
A rugged, rainy day look. Wearing an orange windbreaker (with hood) from Wrangler, matched with a not-too-loud red shirt and pair of sneakers. Made sure everything else is in black.
2) Not-Christmasy Red and Green Combi
Olive green with toned-down red actually looks great together.
3) Marsala
Wearing a girly skirt with lace details, and my oversized, boyish parka and sneaks in this year's favorite color.
4) Nudes / Khakis / Tan / Browns
I like combining different shades of brown in one outfit. It looks clean and fresh to the eyes.
5) Olive + Leather or Olive + Leopard
Another subtle but favorite combination that looks great on casual days. Another plus is a touch of either leopard print or camo.
Speaking of leather, I saw a black quilted leather pencil skirt via my Zalora app last night, which I think will look great for this season till the holidays. Good thing that the Zalora Pop-up Store in EDSA Shangri-La Mall is extended till December, so I can check my size since you have to make sure pencil-cut skirts fit you perfectly.
Anyway, these are just a few of the outfit photos I salvaged for this post. My other favorites include denim-on-denim and 70s influence. I also want to know your ideas! Even my Instagram feed's color and tone changed because of this obsession, hehehe.

I love October! I think it's the weather (and the chance to layer, hehe), but aside from these, the festive feel and the coming important events (mom's birthday, ate's birthday, BU10, Christmas, New Year) make it very very exciting. Anyway, I hope everybody's okay and safe even with the bagyo! I find it funny when I say "Stay safe and dry" hehehe (there you go!), so I'll leave you with ingat guys! instead. :)
