The FaceShop Autumn 2015

It has been a while since I last went to The FaceShop, and I'm glad they still have almost all their cult favorites plus a whole lot more of new products for Autumn 2015.

I went to their SM Megamall branch last Wednesday for the launch of the new Oil Control Water Cushion - a sun cream, makeup base, and foundation in one!

It has a pretty packaging and unique sponge technology:

Very compact, easy to use, and available in different shades, The FaceShop's Oil Control Water Cushion keeps sebum at bay while staying sweat-proof and water-proof. Perfect for this weather, and also for commuters.

But before all the happenings, we were treated to these Paul pastries, which are all super good especially the cute swan bread filled with cream cheese. :p

Za, having her nail art done:

While I had a hair stylish session with Bench Fix, thank you!

Bouncy and ready for the event with Ava!

Marge Apacible, Keti Maderazo, and Justin Hwang of The FaceShop team welcomed the bloggers to their event.

Then Ms. Marge, TFS Philippines Training Manager, conducted a Korean makeup demo with TFS Philippines Top Girl 2014 Mika. Learned a lot of makeup tips and new product information during this segment.

Hi Mika! This model really has nice skin.

After the program, we tried and shopped for our favorite FaceShop products! Nail polish was my very first ever FaceShop purchase, they have good quality and affordable selections.

They have lots of Hair Care and Body Care products:

Cutesy packagings:

Buy 1 Get 1 Promos, like for this all-around Jeju moisturizing gel:

Lots of options for makeup base and coverage, from BB Creams, CC Creams, foundation, concealer, etc.

Powder palettes including eye shadows, blush, bronzer, contour kits:

Eyeliners, mascara, and brow kits. My very first eyebrow makeup was from The FaceShop!

Lipstick, gloss, and tints:

And lots and lots of makeup tools from sponge to brushes:

I also saw this Christmas hand butter set na! Wah! Welcome to the BER months!

Here's my The FaceShop loot, and a little everyday-makeup tutorial post!

1) After prepping and priming my face, I used the new The FaceShop Oil Control Water Cushion (Php 895) for maximum and long-lasting coverage.

It comes with a nice sponge that helps spread the product evenly all over my face. The Oil Control Water Cushion feels light on my skin, there's no caking, and can even be used for retouch.

2) To give depth to my face, I use The FaceShop Dual Shading Pact 01 - Dark Brown / Beige Brown (Php 995).

It comes with the slim brush that is easy to use for contouring.

Applied this under my cheekbones, and then on top of my forehead and my jawline, creating a number three.

Just to experiment! Still with the Dual Shading Pact, but with an eyeshadow blending brush, I used the lighter shade as eyeshadow, and the darker brown to contour the creases of my lids. Since the product is matte naman, it easily worked will for a simple, everyday eye makeup!

3) I seldom use pencil for my eyebrows, but gave The Faceshop's Style My Eyebrow a try (Php 150).

I used it to line my brows, and tried to fill in the gaps with tiny strokes.

I still used the dark shade of my Dual Shading Pact to fill in my brows using an angled brush. Now I can say that this is a very convenient and multi-purpose product!

Blend, blend, blend!

4) I lined my eyes with this easy-to-use Ink Graffi Brush Pen Liner (Php 495). With ink-jet formula and polymer coating, this product can create bold and intense lines with just one stroke!

For this look, and my current makeup preference, I applied the eyeliner ng manipis na manipis lang.

5) The FaceShop Freshian Volumizing Mascara is also hardcore and a great purchase for only Php 195! Create longer lashes with just one swipe, but I made sure to coat my almost non-existent eye lashes 2-3x, hehe.

6) And lastly, another multiple purpose product from The FaceShop is their My Lips Eat Cherry Aqua Tint. (Php 225)

I used it on the apples of my cheeks and my lips for instant blush and lip color. It leaves a pretty red shade, and it doesn't dry too fast so it's easy to blend on my skin without leaving unwanted dark stains.

Here's my everyday look with The FaceShop products! For affordable and quality Korean makeup, I think this will be one of my go-to brands.
