Eyebrow Tutorial with Elf Cosmetics

I recently received this cool ELF Cosmetics Eyebrow Doctor kit, and thought of creating a tutorial on how I shape my own brows using makeup. I usually just use brown eyebrow makeup to shape and fill my kilay, but using several good quality makeup and tools makes the eyebrows look more filled and still natural. Also, it lasts longer, which is important!

Anyway, so first, always start with a makeup primer. This helps in keeping your makeup intact for the rest of the day, something I learned from makeup school. Para may kapitan ang makeup. Elf Cosmetics have several primers, including the Mineral Infused Face Primer and the Poreless Face Primer.

Today, I tried on the Poreless Face Primer since medyo feeling ko ang oily ko ngayon. It is lightweight and smells like green tea, and clear lang siya so easy to spread all over the face.

Step 2 is the ELF Eyebrow Kit.

I use the dark brown gel to line my eyebrows in the shape that I want. Obviously, naka ilang gamit nadin ako nito.

Sorry I haven't groomed my kilay, medyo tamad! Though nakakabata din when you have stray, thick brows, hehe. So all good!

If you're not yet familiar with shaping your brows, watch Youtube tutorials or try this ELF Eyebrow Stencil Kit to guide you. I don't have to use this na since I've been doing my brows for a long time na. I also go to Brow Lounge in Festival Mall once in a while for threading and cleaning (Php 180 only).

Then comes the filling part. Fill the spaces between the lines you have drawn using the ELF Eyebrow Filler. The Lifter is used to clean or straighten any powder or filler that are out of your brows' lines. Haven't used the Lifter pa, though.

What I like about the ELF Eyebrow Filler is that it has sharpener na. Pencils are more economical, so this is highly recommended.

And lastly, I use the Tame part of the ELF Eyebrow Treat & Tame to define and brush my brows in place.

It also makes the brows look like real strands, and very natural.

Basically, this is an eyebrow gel, very easy to use and the color is natural lang for those with dark brown hair. I've learned from makeup class to never use black for your brows, and the best if one shade lighter ang eyebrow color to your hair color.

 There you go!

And lastly, I use my regular angled brush to set everything. Just blend the color, and make sure na hindi siya one block of kilay (hehe).

Here's my "Cara Delevingne" eyebrows! Haha! Hope you like it!
