I always wonder how retail brands continue to conceptualize and create something new and different for every season. They never seem to run out of wondrous ideas that people are willing to buy more of their clothes.
True enough, Plains & Prints gets even more creative for 2015. Also celebrating their 20th anniversary, the brand's recent collaboration is with no less than famed lensmen Mark Nicdao and Wig Tysmans. It's a Photo-Fashion Collection!
The pieces for Plains & Prints 2015 are very unique and beautiful, featuring Tysman's nostalgic photographs of his most beloved people in his most favorite place - his then young children in Baguio City; and Nicdao's photographs taken during his life-changing journey to India.
"I think it's a clever and unique idea to immortalize my shots," said Nicdao.
The collection was launched last Thursday in Glorietta. There was a fashion show:
Jaipur Dress, photo by Mark Nicdao.
A creative collection, can't wait to own a piece or 2.
The photographers graced the event:
And of course, Plains & Prints' celebrity endorser and the country's it girl Anne Curtis was also there, much to the delight of the guests.
Anne was wearing Kennon SL Top and Loakan Skirt, both prints from Tysmans.
The Photo-Fashion Collection limited edition will be out in all Plains and Prints boutiques in July and August.
