My First Nuvali Night Sky Cinema Experience

Valentine's Day wasn't as emo as before, and I was explaining to my younger friends (I have 1 blog barkada which consists of people my age, and another 1 with younger age range so I call them my babies) that maybe the hormonal imbalance thing is true when you reach your early 20s. Anyway, although now that I am a little bit more in control and less emotional it doesn't mean I am not looking for something special to do on Vday. So swerte nadin I guess to receive several event invitations! Haha! Of course my friends and I chose the Valentine field trip to Nuvali in Laguna:

Ride was fast, I didn't even get to nap. When we reached the supposed "sunny south", it was extremely windy that day.

I received a rose--a PASTILLAS ROSE--from Arnie, haha! Thank you!

I love the set-up of the Nuvali Fields. The event is called Romantic Reels, Nuvali's second Valentine's outdoor screening and fifth in total.

Entrance is free and open to all, you just have to leave your ID to avail of the cute puzzle mats.

Romantic Reels is held in partnership with Sky cable, and is made possible with the cooperation of Sun Life, Berocca, and Propan TLC. The brands have their own booths around the vicinity, along with the red roses booth for the crammers (lols) and several food stalls.

Ahhh... I super love the vibe! I was excited for a magdamag na panunuod ng good love stories till starry starry night na and super lamig pa. There were 3 lined up movies appropriate for Feb 14, including Sleepless in Seattle, 50 First Dates, and The Fault in our Stars. Joke ng mga kaibigan ko may 50 Shades of Grey din daw, lol.

We went around first to avail of the sampling stalls and and took some OOTDs.

While the rest bought our food, I stayed in our mats at ako ang naassign to save our space and watch over the bags. I volunteered nadin coz ayoko mamiss the start of Sleepless in Seattle. Out of the 3 movies, yun ang hindi ko pa napapanuod!

Corn + Berocca + Friends. I was such a happy mababaw kid, I didn't even prayed for a Starbucks lover. Lol.

THEN!... THEN IT STARTED TO RAIN! I was still focused on Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, but I had to lift my kimono over my head just to comfortably watch. I like the great outdoors, but that day I wasn't ready for a downpour, huhubelles. I expected a starry starry night, wore long sleeves and jeans--but I also should have at least anticipated rains and brought my own umbrella.

We left before 50 First Dates because I can't focus nadin on the movie. We had double dinner (one with the group in a Nuvali restaurant, another one with Christine back in Makati).

So much for a romantic day! :p I was saying to Christine over my Sapporo beer that night that I wasn't emo, but I was expecting a good day man lang. Didn't even asked for a lover or even a platonic date, just a nice outdoor cinema experience, di pa ginive sa akin. *Sigh* the silly things only Valentine's Day can bring to me. Mabuti nalang magkaka Night Sky Cinema padin ng ibang araw sa Nuvali, at taga Alabang lang ako, hehehe.
