There won't be Throwback Thursdays if not for wanting to bring back the good times of yesteryears. Ako, I am guilty of reliving with my kapanahunans our childhood Friday night TV habit (including X-Men and Are You Afraid of the Dark), and 90s hit songs from boy bands, girl groups, and divas who reigned the MTV countdowns. Feeling ko dahil diyan we will never run out of old school remakes, from movies like Annie and teleseryes like Pangako Sayo, because we always welcome them back with open arms.
For Kenny Rogers Roasters, the team brings back last year's favorite Garlic Butter Chicken in their menu. To make it more exciting, we were sent to Kenny Rogers Tagaytay for a fun field trip!

I am so happy to be invited with this cool group! Hello Ruth, Seph, Trice, Rodel, Jill, Mother Earth, Nikko, Ava, Sarah, Ate Marj, and Paul:
You know you're already in Tagaytay when: 1) there are so much greens, 2) the air felt clean and fresh, ang sarap huminga!
Kenny Rogers in Tagaytay is located at the Sky Ranch, along Aguinaldo Highway. I should go here with the family more often.
We arrived there just in time for lunch. Weee! The Kenny Rogers team served the Garlic Butter Chicken (P235/solo meal and P770/good for 4) + other Kenny Rogers bestsellers.
I love my side sampler. I think I can live with just Kenny's mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and corn muffins!
They also serve brewed coffee here, which I enjoyed after a good meal and with Tagaytay's cool climate.
After the program and chit-chats was the highlight of the day-trip. They treated us to several rides at the Sky Ranch! Yey!
I am a "rides person", not because I am fearless, but feeling ko ang dali lang niya coz there are no skills involved (lol). Takot din naman ako, pero iniisip ko uupo lang naman ako (and sisigaw/mag mumura) haha. Seriously, though, feel ko nasanay lang ako coz our dad used to take me and my sisters to Big Bag Alabang, Boom na Boom, EK, and other throwback Christmas Carnivals back in the day. I rode the octopus when I wasn't even of legal age, haha! Then my high school friends turned out to be adventurous din, so I really grew up seeking the thrill of roller coasters and other buwis buhay rides.
Anyway, less talk na, and on to the photos! The group's agenda for the afternoon, in order (from easiest to screamfest).
Seryoso, ang tugtog during that time sa ferris wheel "I can't stand to flyyy... I'm not that naiveee.." Lol, tawang tawa ako parang sinadya!
Overlooking the Taal. Made the Batangena in me so happy. :)
Excessively high and hyper and happy kid coz of adrenaline rush! Thank you Kenny Rogers for giving us a grand time. :)
