Lee 125: Archive Tour + DIY Jeans
From Glorietta in Makati, Lee Jeans took their 125th year celebration at the Robinsons Place in Ermita, Manila this weekend, and I came to "party" with them. Presenting, the Lee Archive Tour:
LEE DENIM DIY WORKSHOP
One of the highlights of the Lee Archive Tour is the make your Lee jeans your own section, a do-it-yourself workshop where you can customize their exclusive 125th anniversary denim pants (Php1250 with inside label serial number). Customize your jeans with leather patches, buttons, rivets, and iron-on appliques with the help of the Lee DIY team. You can also distress, scrape, and whisker your pair for that vintage and worn-in feel. This is available only until tomorrow at the Robinsons Manila! If you can't come, watch out for the Mall of Asia leg in the coming weeks.
Picked the color of my button and back patch (with 3-letter monogram)

I super love all things personalized... Here's my monogrammed Lee Jeans back leather patch:
THE LEE SS2014 COLLECTION
Hosted by model Tricia Centenera, Lee also had a fashion show of their Spring / Summer 2014 Collection, styled by my blogger friends David Guison and Tin Iglesias no less! :)

I also withnessed the ribbon cutting of the exhibition at the Robinsons Manila event. This two-storey contemporary metal-and-wood structure was first constructed and seen in Glorietta last week, featuring chronicles of fashion-firsts where denim die-hards will see where much of the current jean innovations started. Zipper sa pants? Lee started it!
Congrats David and Tin! :)
