Hello folks!!! How was your Holy Week?
In fairness it wasn't all rest for me since the family had to attend an 8am half-day recollection since Thursday. The reco was organized by The Feast Alabang, and was held at the Filinvest Tent, where we listened to series of uplifting talks. The family also had Visita Iglesia last Thursday night, and then kahapon, Friday, I got sick with Allergic Rhinitis, triggered after cleaning my closets nung Thursday before Visita! :p Bibo kasi masyado, hassle... Slept for the rest of my Friday after the reco... As in nagising ako 7am na pala! :p
Anyway, here's a very summery outfit from last week! Hindi ko naman alam na pool party ang venue for the Praiaz event, but tignan nyo nga naman ako, blending well with the setting :p

Sana hindi ako maubusan ng 50s style inspi, I love its vibe!
Anyway, some kwento from last week. After a Crossfit Greenhills class, I headed to The Collective Malugay to facilitate a BRIDAL SHOWER! But before that, I had to make a stop-over in my favorite Wabi-Sabi vegetarian restaurant (also in The Collective) to satisfy my veg siomai cravings!
After 2 servings (haha)... off I go to the CraftMNL headquarters:
The bridal shower is unlike the usual naughty parties (hehe), for this group, they opted for a crafts class! I brought along several jewelry components and tools like beads, pliers, and wires... And that flower with mint green veil was my little gift for the bride:
...At kung nagkataon nga naman! Ang sinet na theme (which I didn't know till that day) of the barkada of the bride for this party was under-the-sea!!!
The cake and cookies were baked by one of the friends, ang galing noh!
Saw packs of this lakas maka throwback Stay Fresh mint pellets sa candy buffet:
Refreshments, tried a glass of the drink with green apples before class started-- na may alcohol pala lol:
The buffet table, with CraftMNL's backdrop worthy shelves of thingamajigs:
And then finally, the girls plus the soon-to-be-bride arrived na:
My very masipag students! We finished two projects! I taught them how to make a wire "bouquet" ring and a leatherette "cord" bracelet--still wedding ang theme. Nakakatawa din that they called me "Teacher Ana". Happy bunch!
Class ended way past dinner time na. They also had rubber stamps class c/o CraftMNL's Nikki, while I had dinner (sa Wabi-Sabi uli! Adik. ;p) and waited for them to finish narin. It was a productive day! When I posted a photo sa Instagram ko about this class, may nag comment na she remembered me posting before about attending CraftMNL as a student.. And now I teach there nadin! :) In a way, ang fulfilling din palang isipin how in sync padin all the things I do for several years na. I will be holding a first regular class na later (Easter Sunday!), and sobrang ready and excited na ako! :) Thank you CraftMNL for giving me these teaching opportunities!
