Midnight Cravings: Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant
Last week, right after 7107, Sarah and I decided to go to the lunch event of the new Japanese restaurant at the EDSA Shangri-La Plaza in Shaw. Aside from seeing IG photos already, Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant is already internationally known, with over 700 stores in Asia. They were brought here in Manila by the Bistro Group--also the umbrella company of our favorites Italiannis and Friday's!
Watami serves a wide array of authentic and fresh Japanese dishes from appetizers, sushi, sashimi skewers, hot pots, various meat and seafood dishes, and desserts like Maccha Ice Cream, Anmitsu Dumpling, and Chocolate Fondant Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. My favorites are the set-meals with affordable prices (below Php500 with soup and salad already), and also their addicting kiwi tall drink. Note the following bestsellers of Watami Japanese Resto for your next visit: Crispy Chicken Wings, Chasu rice in Stone Pot, Pepper Beef Rice in Stone Pot, Gyoza on a Hot Pan, Self-Grilled Short Ribs and Watami Salad.
With a modern and very chill and homey interiors, I am sure you'll enjoy hanging out here with your friends and family. Sana di ko kayo ginutom! ;p
Visit Watami's newest branch at the 6th level, East Wing of Shangri-la Plaza. For more info:
