Tobys Sports SM Aura + New Brand Ambassadors!
I have to give it to Tobys' Sports, and the man behind the brand, Toby Claudio.
As Sarah puts it while we were talking about Tobys' walang kupas na brand presence, it's the go-to place for sporty requirements ever since our grade school PE days!! Still is--kaya "It starts here" is the best hash tag/ tagline! One throwback with Tobys was when my Ate bought our first volleyball in Tobys (yung blue and yellow, hehe), a classic Mikasa that I saw when we watched a Leila Barros game live, hahaha.
Inside the event's place, aside from the buffet area, toys were installed here and there to entertain the guests before their program started. Cool noh!
Binox-out na namin ang basketball area, haha! Shooting muna, and then legit 2-on-2 game after! ;D Riot coz we weren't prepared for this! But ang saya! ;p
Ang dyahe sakin while shooting, asa near the entrance kasi this ring, tapos biglang daan ni THE Alvin Patrimonio! ;D Hahaha!
Then the program started, with Chesca Litton as the host:
Quest performed din! Favorite ko talaga yung Sige lang, Sige.
Tobys Sports then introduced the new faces to represent their brand:
One of our greatest Pinoy basketball player of today, with multiple MVP recognition in the PBA, James Yap best represents the brand for being a hardworking athlete:

English-Filipino football player Neil Etheridge who proudly represents the country in international games with the Azkals:

The blog friends and I also went in the fairly new Tobys Sports SM Aura branch after the event. Panalo their kicks selection, and a lot were ON SALE too! We all took home new pairs of running and porma shoes!!!
Aside from our latest obsession for running-slash-porma shoes (New Balance! Haha!).. I am really a big collegiate basketball fan. I love the school spirit and the pride that comes while watching your team--win or lose. Although missing out on this season's UAAP games, I am still proud that the Tigers made it to the Final Four! :D Woot! (Read: UAAP Mode-ON!)
I saw that Tobys also carries university pride tees, and even Gilas apparel (jerseys) to celebrate Team Philippines. And while we're at it--hindi lang sha pang porma or para pang nuod sa games of your team, will check out the store uli soon for the fitness side of all these para naman pumayat-payat muna bago mag Pasko...haha! Health is wealth! Lol.
