Tartan and Floral

First event since the "long break" and I can't think of anything to wear, or tamad lang. Haha. Recently, I've bought around 30(!!!) e-magazines just for kicks via this new IG shop discovery (influence ni Ate) e-Book Factory. Siguro mga naka P500 lang ako for all these 30 magazines--both international and local labels a-- na latest pa! From browsing through these Teen Vogues, Vogues, Cosmo, Nylon, Seventeen, inStyle, and Good Homes (hehehe, seryoso ako though! ;p), na-re-meet ko si dark florals:

The dark florals trend was spotted in several Spring / Summer 2014 collections (ang advance!!!), and although just a recurring print, every time narereacquaint ako with this dark take on something sweet and sunny, I can't help but follow the bandwagon. Namamagnetize ako sa anything florals (the feeling hippie in me!), what more! When placed on black canvass. Kaya pala ako "goth-boho" sa friends ko e, may pinanggalingan! Hahaha!

And then while browsing through IG (scroll scroll scroll, refresh! scroll scroll scroll, refresh!... Hahaha, adik!)...I saw this 90s reincarnation:


Kung mahilig ka din mag window shopping, you'll notice that your favorite red (or blue) tartan cotton polos are back in the racks (e teka napamigay / benta / nawala ko na yung ganyan ko before, huhuhu regrets!). Some have the right soft (cozy parang blanket!) texture... But most remake ang nipis na! Planning to go to ever-reliable ukays soon to score the right plaid / tartan polo... But for now, settle muna ako sa inarbor kong old sling from my sister's bag rack: ("Cea uso na uli yan!") 

Okay na ba sa todo-explain kong tamad-look? :)
Paired with slim white heels, parang put-together na ba? Haha!

Also same night, before we took our #ootd, we saw my other idol Kookie waiting for a cab! :) AKKK!!! Sabi niya, "O kanwari wala ako!" Shet mas dyahe pala mag picture-picture pag kaharap ang mag-isang idol kesa sa usual na maramiiiing madlang people hahaha! :p Effortless "Fashionista Commuter" -
