Freeway Updates: New Collab, Bag Design Contest Winners

Straight from pag-chachariot Intramuros tour, ran to Glorietta with Pax and Paul to witness another Freeway artist collaboration! Better late than never!

Since everyone's attention was sa program, we went inside The Row store in the new Glorietta wing to check out the new Freeway pieces inspired by Filipino National Artist for Music, Sir Lucio San Pedro:

Wearable Art: Black and white tops, dresses, and skirts

No to Plain Janes: Freeway translated paintings into wearable pieces. Bet ko the ones with roses!

Love this: lines, quotes, lyrics--printed sa sleeves and linings.

For the love of prints + basics:

Another notable thing about Freeway is the contests they hold to discover new local talents! They just announced their ART BAG DESIGN Contest winners!

At the stage area, they showed how the deliberation went! From hundreds of entries, the esteemed judges narrowed down the contestants...

...Until they reached to the final 20 best entries:

Congrats to Christine Sioco and Kevin Roque!

Ang cool lang that their designs are now printed in tote bags, and being sold sa Freeway stores! Good job to the winners!

...And kudos to FREEWAY! :)
Again, you've made 2 more artists' dreams come true!

Photo with the gang, thanks to Ava! :)
