Alamnyoyan. Feeling teacher talaga akey. Dream ko to since grade school, maging isang inspiring teacher, haha. But I guess hindi siya ang calling ko (una, shy type talaga ako; pangalawa, ang dali kong masore-throat dahil di galing sa diaphragm pag nagsalita ako, haha)... Pero once in awhile, I do take on the challenge of imparting knowledge to others. I was invited to teach Wire Accessories in the Brown Bag Vintage and Crafts Market last December 9...Siyempre go ako! :)
A nice mix of students. Had 9 enrollees. May mga mother-daughter tandems pa! :) Challenging, first time ko ata magtuturo sa crowd na older than me because college students palang natuturuan ko.
My "lesson plan": wired flower ring
Happy faces! :) Nakakaenganyo magturo, lalo na pag benta ang corny jokes ko! :D Hehehe.
The girl in yellow can't understand Tagalog (kung maka becky-mese pa naman ako non, wagas, hahaha). Nanyayari din naman sa akin to sa DLSU (maraming Koreans) kaya keri lang. Nakakatawa lang talaga ako mag turo in English hehehe!
Smallest class I've ever taught in, but still fun! I usually go to my students ng isa-isa to check kung tama ang nagagawa nilang "flower", before kasi may student akong barbeque ang naform instead of petals hehehe.
And finally after an hour... The finished products! :) <3
I am so proud pag nakakatapos ang student ko ng accessory nila!
The presentation / recital / graduation (hehe!)
Kanya kanyang pose yan! Lovet!
Bongga very colorful! Natutuwa ako whenever the students go wild with their creativity:
I love mother! Siya na ang best in participation and questions! Dagdagan pa ng Best in Posing! :)
Another mag-ina! :) I love mother din, siya ang very fast learner...Kahit ang liit ng demo tools ko at asa likod sila. Sabi ko next time dadala ako ng cardboard beads para pag nag demo ako malaki hehe:
JJ's pop wire art ring!
Sila ang nag papicture ng ganito! Love the energy! :)
Volt in!
Before saying goodbye, I had one Q&A thing for my students, na mananalo ng ENVIROSAX ecobag and a ring I made! Ang question, ano ang online shop ko?
Mother is best in participation talaga! :) Congrats po!
Class pic! :)
Of course they get to take home the rings they made and the tools para makapractice. Also, some cupcakes from the very generous sponsor Sweets by Cha. Perfect na panawid gutom because it was dinner time na nun!
Thank you my Brown Bag class for the fun night! Sabi nga nila, you will always leave a piece of yourself to your students. Kahit teacher-teacher-an lang ako, I hope that you guys received the knowledge, creativity, and most especially, the inspiration that I'd love ALL my students to acquire.
Wishing all the best po sa inyong lahat! :)
