Multiply Shopping Partey!

To cap the National Events Day (hehe), I headed to the MULTIPLY.com event in Whitespace, Makati. I got there via a fun cab ride with the young ones aka the Tumblr girls Dianne Dequina, Charlene Ajose, Erika Rodica, and also with Jonver David... Nakaka bata naman sila kasama! ;)

When I reached the venue: 

 ...I was welcomed with lotslots of people na. Most of them mga online-people! :) We were late nadin for the event (missed the pacontests and fashion show, sayang! I heard bongga daw :)).

Since we were late na for the show, we enjoyed nalang each other's company (nuks)

Gusto ko lang ishare, ang tagal ko nang Multiply.Com user. Siguro mga late 2005 or early 2006 nun inopen ko yung aking personal account -- ginamit ko yung "Market" tab for selling Anagon big earrings, and then yun "Journal" tab naman was where I first blogged. Institusyon kung institusyon! Haha.

Naalala ko yung ganap noon na nagdedelete daw ang Multiply ng mahuli nilang accounts na nagsesell, kinabahan ako non! Ilang taon na akong online seller nung time na yun--so ginawa ko nag message ako sa Multiply Help if totoo ba ang chika. Nagkareply kaagad ako na tunay nga ito dahil nasa Terms and Agreement nila before opening an account na we can't use their site for commerce chenes. Hala naisip ko nagpakabibo pa kasi ako! Haha!

Years later, Multiply transformed their site from social networking to a total e-commerce medium. Bongga kasi they reached more than 100, 000 online stores na! And the rest, sabi nga nila, is history! :)

During the party, hundreds of products and 90 stores that are exclusively available in Multiply were showcased. Live na live and in the flesh! :) Sayang walang Anagon Collection noh? Hehehe.

They also have laptops all over the venue, and gave P1000 gc to the guests para matry ang new Multiply Marketplace features.

I didn't get a GC dahil mabagal ako (and sabi nila first 100 lang daw :p) so I just watched my friends "online shop"! :)

Thank you Multiply for holding this party! Now that I think about it, I really owe A LOT to this site sa lahat ng aking entrepreneurial hardwork for almost 6 years already. :) I tried opening Anagon Collection in other social networking sites, but there is nothing like Multiply.com in terms of online selling, so eventually I went back to my good ol reliable virtual store: http://www.anagoncollection.multiply.com. I will definitely work on upgrading my site and updating the albums into the new Product Listings! Exciting! :)
